Inspector Daddy

No matter what I do or how hard I try, I can never hide anything from my dad...

The previous evening when my dad was dropping me to Chemistry tuition, Maali happened to pass by us on his cycle (..I call it a BIKE!)

Usually when I go for tuitions, my eyes keep searching for him. I always believe that I may bump into him somewhere on the way. But sometimes when I least expect to see him, he always pops up out of no where.

Anyway .... that evening, I least expected to see him and that too when I had my dad walking besides me. My dad has never seen Maali and doesn't know him either. All my dad knows is that there is a guy that I am crazy about.

As usual he smiled...... And as usual I smiled and blushed in return.

It all happened within a fraction of a second. But my dad was quick at noticing everything.

The moment he smiled, dad looked at me and found me smiling :p

To make things worse, I was blushing too..

And then dad began passing his aweful comments -

Dad : Is it "him"?

Me : No daddy... (Still blushing)

Dad : ...Then why are you smiling like that?!?

Me : It's not him (Still blushing)

Dad : You seriously don't have a good taste. Of all the guys in the world you fell for this one.

Me : It's not him daddy...

Dad : He looks like a MONKEY!

Me (thinking) : Monkey?!? From which angle?!? He is the most cutest guy in the world. His hair is as soft as a feather. His eyes is so deep like the Pacific Ocean..I do not mind drowning in them! What more... He is tall, handsome and hot!

Dad : Look at him.. He looks more like a SKELETON!!!

Me (thinking) : Atleast he is healthy!

Dad : Say something..

Me : It's not him daddy!

-------------
What an aweful start? Are there any chances that my dad will ever like him...?

CHICK - FLU

Jaanejaan dhoondhta phir raha.... hoon tumhein raat din
Main yahan se vahan
Mujhko aawaaz do..... chhup gaye ho sanam

TUM KAHAN?!?

It's been days since I ever had a CHICK-A-LICIOUS meal!! Bird flu has recently hit the country where I live with two such deadly cases. Luckily, the authories have managed to destroy the infected birds.

But... MY MOM... *sob* *sob*

Oh no! She hasn't caught Bird flu The thing is that she is not willing to prepare any CHICKEN dish for me!

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

I have been relying on peas, salad, fruits and stew ever since she imposed this rule on us! 'NO CHICKEN' to me means to live a life without breathing oxygen...

Yesterday, on my way to tuition, I happened to pass by a CHICKEN shop. Strangely, there was no one in the shop - except the butcher and the lucky CHICKENS! I could hear the CHICKENS scream louder than ever before... Perhaps they might have been celebrating!

Whatever it may be.. I do miss those sexy CHICKEN legs in the delicious biryani cooked by my mom.

A time for Festivity!

Holidays.. Being Class 12 students, that's the word our ears die to hear! The holiday granted for Diwali had been such a great bore since I had utilised it for preparing for my Chemistry Test. I had spent the whole day memorising the trends of various groups in P-Block - when I actually wanted to burst atleast ONE cracker down my building. And the next day.. To my horror, the Chemistry test was cancelled! Shit! Make that - DOUBLE SHIT...

But Eid holidays.... Oh Boy! It's been exciting so far! Yesterday - happened to be the first day of my Eid holidays. On the first day itself, me and my girlfriends (class mates) decided to go to the most fantabulous Mall in the country. The guys from my class were supposed to join us later on.

Before I can begin with what went on in the Mall.. Let me share this most beautiful thing that happened to me yesterday.

Well.. I got the priviledge of visiting Maali's house. Oh my... I am BLUSHING again! Why?!?

Not that I am superstitious, but I made sure that I entered his house with my RIGHT FOOT in! Unfortunately Maali wasn't at home. I met his mom though.

But it was terrible....

The thing is that ... when I entered his house, I was like "Hello Aunty.. Good Morning Aunty.." and stuff. I said all the sweet things in the world to her, except 'Eid Mubarak'... I realised this later on... But as soon as I realised, I wished her. I wonder what his mom must be thinking of me

I was soon escorted into Maali's room since there were some guests in the Living room. Maali's room is a living junkyard! Guys will always remain like 'ghais' (cows)

* His books had been kept so untidily on a rack
* His clothes....Less said is better. They had been just hung up on a hook.
* His bike was in his room.. Can you believe it?

If my dad was his dad, Maali would have been dead by now! My dad hates shit being thrown here and there in the room. The only tidy place in his room, was his bed. Now you can't expect him sleeping on a heap of junk, right? The second thing I liked about his room was a frame like

object hung up on the wall which had "Allah" written on it. Atleast I know that Maali is religious!

------------------------------

Forget Maali now. Think about the Mall.

After visiting Maali's house, my friends and I went to the Mall. It was fun! Initially, we planned on watching an English movie at the mall's tiny cinema but we

ultimately ended up at the beach opposite the mall.

So here are the pictures. Perhaps they may bring sweet memories of teenage life to your mind.

1. Water reservoir (..Perhaps). I still don't know what's it called :)
