Alein Attack! Run for your lives!

I stayed awake late last night inorder to see my favourite serial on television - Rosewells. It's all about aliens... I have been fascinated about the idea of aliens since I was a kid. Sometimes I used to spend hours together thinking whether they are for real.

Earthlings have always projected aliens to be the bad guys... I have heard alot about alien abductions and seen several documentaries on it - but how far is it true?

Here is some information about the Rosewell incident that took place several years even before my parents were born!

1947, in a Mexico dessert next to Rosewell, an alien craft crashed. The civilians arriving at the scene witnessed dead and injured alien bodies. When the military arrived they captured the craft and aliens and initiated a massive cover-up. Research revealed that the "Roswell Incident" was not even considered a UFO event until the 1978-1980 time frame. Prior to that, the debris recovered was identified as being that of a weather balloon.

Here is a newspaper article from the Times that was published in 1947.

I have no idea how true the above information is.... But if aliens really existed then we would have seen them. I haven't seen aliens except that of in movies and serials... Even my grand-parents have never seen aliens ...

Aliens are, therefore, not for real. But I would still like to know who created these imaginary creatures anyway...

Before leaving, I would like to paste some cool UFO pictures so that you may all enjoy going through it..

Love Bytes.....

Given : real snippets from newspapers around the world.

To prove : Love "hurts"...

Proof :

1. A Warwickshire woman married a man just a month after he stabbed her for having pre-wedding jitters.
Katrina Grant, 36, needed 12 stitches and suffered a collapsed lung after being stabbed by her 22-year-old fiancee Luke in a drunken attack.
He was later given a suspended sentence, but while he was on bail the couple from Nuneaton got married.

2. A henpecked German has chosen to do time in jail rather than pay a parking fine to get away from his nagging wife.
The 47-year-old man, from Itzehoe, faced a £55 fine - or 10 days in prison if he didn't pay up.
Police in the town said they were stunned when the man rang up and asked them to come and pick him up from his home.
"He said he couldn't stand the constant bickering at home with his wife and was looking forward to a bit of peace and quiet in jail," said a police spokesman.

3. Police in eastern India have arrested a man who chopped off his wife's tongue to stop her constant nagging. It's reported her 40-year-old husband, who runs a grocery store, was fed up with the wife's complaints over his meagre income.

4-eyed monsters!!!!!

Hellloooo Bloggers!
Am back after a 4 day hibernation... ;) Was kinda busy with my studies, tuitions, tests and all the normal student stuff. Now it's time for faltoo time-pass : blogging! :D

Let's get back to the topic for today!

We have seen or alteast heard about the eight - legged freak,

but what's four-eyed monsters? Well - it's a reference made to the people wearing spectacles! I am a four-eyed monster too ! MUHAHAHHAHA! I don't know what's the power of my glasses, but I can say one thing for sure - I can see nothing without my spectacles... :D Now I am sure, you have got a clear picture of how good my eye-sight is....

In the area where I live, most of the young people (kids & teens) wear glasses. It's strange, but true. Out of the total 31 students in my class, 18 wear spectacles and the rest have normal eye-sight...
Even younger kids around age 3-6, studying in my school, wear glasses too. The percentage of kids & teens wearing glasses have increased in the recent years.

I am the only youngest person in my family who wears glasses. Nobody else needs it, except my grand-pa, aunt and uncle who are quite old.

Now the question is - why are we losing our eye-sight so badly? Perhaps it's because, the kids of this generation are most exposed to computers and televisions...

We never let our eyes take a break at all..
I guess I am one of the "We"......

LOL! It's 12:44am right now and I am still blogging ... :-s

I spent nearly 7 hours on the computer today by surfing the net, blogging and creating applications with Visual Basic.
One of these days, I am surely going to be a eight - eyed monster if I don't stop sitting in front of the computer for hours together!
Ok then thats all for now.. I need to go to sleep.. Bubyyeeee...
*yAwn*

Veerappan - a notorious sandalwood smuggler has been shot dead on October18, after many years for commiting several crimes.
Who doesn't know Veerappan? He gained recognisation worldwide after kidnapping the Kannada matinee idol - Mr. Rajkumar.
He has been one of the most smartest criminals in India with a very dangerous criminal record. He succeeded many times - in getting away from the clutches of the Indian Police.
Veerappan commited his first crime when he was barely 10 years old.
The famous dacoit has left the world finally, leaving behind his wife Muthulakshmi and his daughter.

I CAN COOK!!

Hmmmm... Nothing much. I just had a fresh bowl of salad for dinner.
Well, talking about food - I had mentioned in previous post that I would put up a recipe in my next post. So here I am... all ready with my saucepans, knives and ingredients.

I am a good cook unless or until there is a good cook book in front of me. Without the cook-book I am nothing! So here is a favourite recipe from a favourite cook-book of mine:

Prawn Chilly Fry (common among the goans)

1/2 kg clean prawns
1/4 inch ginger piece
5 small onions
2-3 green chillies with slits (increase the number of chillies if you want the dish to be spicy!)
1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
1/4 red chilly powder
1/4 black pepper powder
Salt to taste
Oil

Method:
Clean the prawns properly and apply little salt to it - for taste.
Chop the onions finely
Pour oil into the frying pan on a low flame. Add onions and fry them till it turns slightly light brown in colour. Add the remaining ingredients, including the prawns. Toss the contents of the pan till the prawns are cooked properly.
Voila, your dish is ready and you can have the prawns with bread or rice. I prefer having this dish with bread/ Khobus (Arabic bread) or pulao. Yummy!

Anyway that's all for now.. And yeah - for all the muslims all around the world:

HAPPY RAMADAN TO YOU ALL!!!!!!!!

Yummilicious!

Well ! It was my cousin sister's birthday today and we had a fine dinner at a restaurant, late evening.
There was Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani, Chicken Tikka, Mutton Kadai and lot's of dishes on the table... Man! I couldn't stop drooling over those gorgeous chicken legs! I first dropped in a few papads into my stomach and then the rest... It was a sumptous meal!

I love eating the food cooked by my mom more than food made at the restaurants. My mom's food is safe... It's not oily, nor spicy - apt for a normal teenaged girl.

I may not be as good as my mom in cooking, but then I can cook too. My dad doesn't allow me enter the kitchen at all... Normal Indian parents would force their daughters to learn cooking at a young age. But then my dad is different... He feels that I am too young to cook! How cute is that...?

Since my dad has spoilt me alot, I have ended up learning how to cook only three dishes.. And I am really good at it... I would like to share the recipes with all the budding chefs and devoted housewifes. But I will do that the next time when I blog... I have to go to sleep now. I am too tired to type anything more... Bubyeee for now!

My ideal guy

It's fun thinking about how my dream guy is going to be.. I mean - I don't know how he looks and how he is actually... But I know that he is there somewhere, waiting for me *blush*
There are so many questions that crosses my mind, like - how and where will I meet him for the first time.... how will I come to know who is my guy in the first place?
There are endless questions that keep popping up in my mind but then again time will only reveal the answers to me...

Now, a year ago, I made my mom and dad devise a small check-list of what they expect my dream guy to be and so here it is:

Dad's checklist:

The guy should

1. be 5 Ft 10 Inches tall
2. be fair
3. have a moustache
4. have a straight, thick hair
5. be thin, approx. 60-65kgs
6. have nice nails
7. not smoke or drink
8. be of the same profession as mine
9. have extremely gentle parents
10. be well-dressed
11. have a good salary
12. have nice teeth

Mom's checklist:

1. It's OK if the guy is not good-looking. Looks are not important.
2. He should not be hot-tempered
3. He should be loving, humble and not proud or boastful
4. Should have a good background
5. Should be well educated
6. Should have a good sense of humour
7. Should be open, honest and intelligent
8. Should be God-fearing
9. Should earn well to take care of me
10. His parents should be good.

Finally here is my check-list, it's a long one - but cute too:

The guy should

1. Have a good sense of humour
2. Be humble
3. Give me total freedom and liberty to express my views and actions
4. Be God- fearing
5. Be independent
6. respect me just as I would respect him.
7. love and respect my parents just as I would do to his parents
8. always keep me happy and never make me cry
9. trust me just as I would trust him.
10. not dominate over me.
11. not smoke nor drink
12. be very very very very tall
13. be well-dressed
14. have the most beautiful smile in the world.
15. be very naughty and child-like.
16. never scream at me....
17. never raise his hand on me .... 'COZ IF HE RAISES HIS HAND ON ME, THEN ACCORDING TO NEWTON'S THIRD LAW OF MOTION - EVERY ACTION HAS AN EQUAL AND OPPOSITE REACTION.

That means if he hits me, then I will hit him back in return. :p

18. livewith a big and loving family.

19. love his parents very much. A guy who doesn't love his own parents, can't make a good father to his own kids.

That's all...

My Goals....

A life without a goal seems meaningless. When you have no idea about what your next destination is, you tend to become lost in a world that's full of twists and turns.
I have a goal in life too. I assume that - with my hard work, I will be able to get into the medical field. For this reason, I strive hard to do my best at school.
The reason why I have planned to enter the medical field is because I love it.. Moreover I have got a hormonal disorder too and I am a frequent visitor to the hospital. So I have dreams that someday I may be able to find a cure to my hormonal disorder.
I want to be either a gynaecologist or endocrinologist - which ever is possible.

But I guess, India has a better scope for gynaecologists - for two reasons:

1. India's population is ever increasing *LOL* - that means a better income for me
2. Every woman needs a good gynaecologist.

So I would love being a gynaecologist.

Do visit me someday when I am a doctor. I would be more than happy to operate on anyone of you! Muhahahahhaa!

Laws and Love

Being a science student, I have always viewed LOVE from the scientific point of view.

The best way to understand what LOVE is all about, is by studying this beautiful topic under the following categories:

A. Physics
B. Chemistry
C. Biology

Let's start with the first category:

A. Physics:

According to the law of Universal Gravitation, every body in this universe is attracted to every other body. How true!! But the force that attracts the bodies, is directly proportional to the product of their masses and the square of the distances between them....
Here is an explantion of the law written above:

Consider two different bodies - a male and a female with masses m1 and m2 respectively, separated by a distance 'r'

Example - Let the mass of the male be 70kg and that of female be 65kg. They are separated by a distance of 10metres.

Now the force between the male and female will be equal to [(70*65)/10], if the force is equated to the value with the help of a constant then force is nothing but 455 Newton.
On the other hand if the masses of the male and female is same and the distance between them is reduced to 10cm (0.01meters).
Then- Force is equal to [(70*65)/0.01]- which is nothing but 455000 Newton.
What does these calculations imply? Well - its simple. When the distance between two bodies was 10m the force was 455N, but when the distance was 0.01m the force was 455000Newton.
The force of attraction between two bodies is high when they are very close to each other.

Long distance relationships don't work at all.

B. Chemistry:

Chemistry is a subject with mystery. If you think deeply about love, you will end up feeling that love is a mystery too.

Now - according to Boyle's Law, for a given mass, at constant temperature, the pressure and volume is a constant.

If PV = Constant, then
P = Constant/ Volume

Which means that if Pressure increases, volume decreases. Or if the pressure decreases then Volume increases.
But what is volume? Volume is the space occupied by an object.
So if there is alot of pressure put into a relationship by one of the partners - then the other partner gets less volume (less space).

Therefore less pressure and more space (volume) is ideal for a good relationship.

C. Biology:

Biology is a term derived from Latin word 'scientia' which means "to know".
We always want to know what love is actually when we enter our teens. Our thirst for getting more knowledge about LOVE is unending.
Charles Darwin came up with the concept of "Survival of the Fittest". Love is actually meant for the "Fittest". It is for thosewho can expect both the best and the worst things out of their love life and face them bravely. Love is not for the people who are weak at heart and those who feel that commiting suicide is the best idea when their love life turns bitter or sour.

It is the fittest who triumphs in love.

Moooochooooooo!

It's Sleek! It's Smooth! It's Hot and Spicy!
ITS A MOUSTACHE!!!!!
Moustaches are the pride of men. All men are complete when they have a mooch!

But what would you say if a man had a mooch like this -

and like this ?????

or like this ????

I wonder how the guy above has his moustache sticking upwards. Is it a miracle or a new phenomenon that can go against the gravitational force of the earth somehow? Whatever it is - mooches will always be cool with new styles coming up....

How to build a good human relationship....

Here is something I found over the Net and thought of sharing with you all ....

HOW TO BUILD A GOOD HUMAN RELATIONSHIP

Some Do’s …

  • Do what is right, not what is easiest
  • Do learn about other cultures, history and habits before judging;
  • Do ensure both sides have equal say;
  • Do respect differences of opinions;
  • Do listen when others try to explain
  • Do understand that you can be wrong, too;
  • Do try to understand and be appreciative;
  • Do take responsibility for your action or inaction;
  • Do ask questions, but politely;
  • Do remember others have feelings too;

Some Don’ts …

  • Don’t act in anger, take time out;
  • Don’t interrupt when others try to explain
  • Don’t patronize, show respect;
  • Don’t look down on others, be level;
  • Don’t be judgmental, be fair;
  • Don’t ridicule differing beliefs and attitudes
  • Don’t dominate, try to accommodate;
  • Don’t ignore diversity, try to understand it;
  • Don’t be insulting, be appreciative;
  • Don’t divide people, integrate them.

Happy Gandhi Jayanti!

Ok - so it's OCTOBER, a brand new month with new weeks and days :p! There are many birthdays coming up this month - which means I will get to attend many parties....
Party means - good food, good desserts and time-pass. Muahahahhaha!
ooooooooooooohhh - I love OCTOBER!

Talking about birthdays - it's Gandhi ji's birthday today... Yes - I am talking about Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, famously known as Mahatma(Great) Gandhi or Bapuji (Father). Gandhiji is remembered fondly even today by millions of Indians and Non-Indians as well. He was known for his belief on non-violence.

pho_ghandi-with-wheel

It's been years since Gandhiji passed away, but I still feel that Gandhi ji's dream weren't realised at all. Religious riots and discrimination are still common in some parts of India. Gandhi ji was a very peaceful man. He wouldn't have felt happy, if he was alive now - to see the horrible incidents that are taking place in the country.

Bah! Forget India, there is no peace in this whole world anymore. Many peace-loving people have passed away doing so much for the world, but there is still no change. It's a pity to see the world crumbling down with religious differences and intolerance. People are fighting for land, wealth and religion every where. I wonder where will all this lead them to...

Anyway... I wasn't able to attend school today 'coz I went to the hospital for my normal check-up. I wonder how the school celebrated Gandhiji's birthday today.. I will find out with my friends at school and let you know asap.

Au revoir!
