PSP Maniac

Ok .... I have recently installed PSP8 on my computer and this is the first image I tried creating with it. It took me hours to get accustomed to the tools in PSP. I went through several tutorials and came with up the some images. I guess I will take time in mastering the software.

I spent 6 hours on the net since I came from school. Had a terrific day today.
And what about my speech? Man! I stayed awake last night till 12 midnight - jotting down some points for the speech.
But - today, when it was my turn to deliver the speech in the class, I was shivering like a chicken. I delivered the speech well, but the only problem was that I could not stop myself was trembling. Eeeeeks!
I wonder if I will ever get rid of my stage fright some day in the near future. Ok, so here is another disadvantage of being me!

A word with you...

It’s me again with yet another tale to tell :p
I am listening to music right now. I just finished studying for the tests that is going to be held tomorrow.
Fine. Today we learnt something interesting in Biology – something about the diseases that are caused due to genetic disorders. It was quite informative. Many of my classmates found it amusing, when the sir mentioned that guys could exhibit female characteristic patterns if they had some genetic disorder.
Some of the genetic disorders or hormonal imbalances that disturbs the external appearance can get pretty nasty and may even sound funny, but that does not mean that we have the right to laugh at these victims.
Most of the people who suffer from such disorders live in humilation and isolation because other people make fun of them. While some people do get over this humilation.

There is one such case that I came across few years back – I read this article about the brothers - Larry and Danny Ramos Gomez( Mexico).
You can find articles about the brothers and thei family on the Web. Do check the articles out!
The brothers suffer from Hypertrichosis. Correct me if I am wrong! J. Infact their whole family suffers from excessive hair growth that spreads over the face too. It’s a rare case, but it’s a fact. They now work as acrobats and don’t bother much about how they look and what they are. I admire them for what they believe and how they have got used to stares from other people.
But not all people are so brave to accept how they look and what they are. So if you come across a person with a genetic disorder or hormonal imbalance and notice that he/ she looks different from the rest, don’t laugh or mock at him/her. You have no right to do that at all.

I am depressed *yawn*

Ok I have just got few minutes before switching off the computer. It's 9:55pm right now and have got to sleep.
Well I am kinda depressed today.. No! It's not my dad again - DUH!
Well it's just that some of my friends made me end up feel this way.. Aaarggh! The thing is that I had recently created a group website for my school with the knowledge of HTML that I have acquired within a year. In the past few weeks, I started getting nasty remarks from some of my friends, saying that the website that I had created is so boring and stuff like that. Moreover nobody visited that site anymore. I had no idea - how to solve this problem 'coz I was like so busy with my studies.
So, this Friday, I took up the decision to close down the website. It was a difficult thing to do but I had to.... I had put a lot of hardwork and effort into making this website. I spent months in creating different and unique pages for my website. It was tough letting the website go... After all it was just like my baby.
Today (Saturday) when I went to school, one of my friends started laughing at me 'coz I closed down that website. I don't know why she found it amusing. I hate the way she sarcastically asked me about the group website...
Aaarghh! Ok I got to cool down.. There is no point in getting angry.
Anyway - I have come up with an interesting idea for my next website. I hope this idea will work out and draw millions of people to the website. HOWZZZZAAATTTT? :D

Pyar ka Mausam....♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Here are some beautiful quotes on love :

"It's not that I am afraid to die, it's if I die, who will love you as I do?"

"Someone has stolen my heart and you are the highest on my list of suspects."

"There are a hundred reasons why I should give up, but you're the one reason why I keep going."

The most precious possession that ever comes to a man in this world is a woman's heart.

~ by Leo Buscaglia ~

The greatest thing you'll ever learn
Is to love and be loved in return.
~ From "Unforgettable with Love" by Natalie Cole

You will never know true happiness
until you have truly loved,
and you will never understand
what pain really is
until you have lost it.

Life without love is like a tree
Without blossom and fruit.

One word frees us
Of all the weight and pain in life,
That word is Love

Starting at forever,
And ending at never.

Horrible Dream

Last night I got this really horrible dream about 'the guy of my dreams' :P .... and I am disturbed right now. Seriously!
I have put the line : the guy of my dreams - in single inverted commas because this guy always appears in my dreams. Eww!
I always see that I am waiting for this guy to pass by my building, but he never shows up in any of my dreams. And like last night, in my dream, this guy didnt pass by my building as usual. But this time I was worried and I knew something was wrong with him. I waited and waited for him - but he didn't turn up. Finally I got to know that the guy had been caught up in a car accident. I rush to the accident scene and find his charred body in middle of the road. The ambulance picks him up and takes him to the hospital. The doctor declares that he is dead and all that stuff..

The dream was really horrible and it's worst that I have seen so far.. I wonder why do I always find this guy in most of my dreams.. I hate recollecting the scene at the hospital -- in my dream.
:(
Anyway I hope all is well with the 'guy of my dreams', wherever he is right now...

AIDS - no more a taboo

I just finished watching the movie - Phir Milenge with my family. The movie is purely based on the dilemma of a HIV positive victim. It throws light on this very subtle topic.

There are more than 42 million people all over the world who are living with this deadly and incurable disease. Though India has become far much developed, there are still some people who have just no knowledge on this matter and consider HIV/ AIDS victims as"UNTOUCHABLES".

Few months back, there was this article in the local newspaper about a woman, living in a small village in Southern India. She was HIV positive and had passed it on to her small kids. The local school authorities refusedto let the kids enter the school premises. Moreover the parents of the children studying in that school refused to let the HIV positive kids study in the same school as with their children. They were afraid that their children would get infected by simplystudying and playing with the HIV positive kids, in the same school.

Isn't that a sign of ignorance?

This article, definitely, shook me from within. It's a disturbing fact that there are still more people in this world who simply have no idea about the cause and spread of this infection.

An HIV/ AIDS victim is just another human being. They have got equal rights just as a normalhealthy human being would have. They need love and affection, not rejection. They need someoneto stand by them and hold their hand at this crucial stage of their life.

Here is a list below that mentions everything about what all you CAN do when there is HIV patient sittingright besides you:

* You can touch the patient - there is no harm in doing that as long as there is no exchange of bodily fluids
*You can share the same plates and cups with the patient
* You can talk to the patient without keeping a hand over your mouth - the virus doesn't simply spread through air
*You can hug the patient - it will make them feel more better

Under the tyrannous rule....

Here is a 100 million dollar question :

Who said this famous line - "Listen to your wise old man! " ?

Can't guess it? Well it's none other than my old wise DAD. The line above is his favorite and it's often directed towards me. Aaaaarrrgghhhh!

Here is a treaty of DONTs (there is not a single DO) that has been officially prepared by the "tyrant" . Under force and pressure I am obliged to follow the rules

OK, so here goes the DONTs :

  • Don't MARRY a mallu ( or known as 'loongi-wala' by my dad) - For all you people who have no idea what a mallu is, please feel free to contact my dad for further information. My dad has a strong grudge against these poor innocent people who have spread their colonies world-wide.
  • Dont LOOK OUT OF THE WINDOW at 7am and 5pm - Well I have the habit of peeking out of the window at 7am in the morning and 5pm in the evening. But here again, HITLER (dad) ensures that the clothes are put out to dry on the cloth line to obstruct my view.
  • Don't FALL IN LOVE before the end of the teen-age "19"
  • Don't MARRY until I am 21
These are the awful conditions put before me and I have to follow 'em until my Prince Charming will come along one day and snatch me from the clutches of the tyrant ruler. MUHAHAHHAHAHHAHA!

The image “http://members.tripod.com/~alleysplace/gifs3/Cinder-Prince.gif” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. <======== My Prince Charming and I
That's all for now. Have a nice day!

Note: The above mentioned DONTs are 100% true. Although I have got a lot of limitations in my daily life, I still love my dad for the way he is. He has, he is and he will always be my best friend. He has been my angel and has prevented me from doing many wrong things in the past. I am grateful to him for making up this beautiful treaty of DONTs.

Are you in love?

I am not in love at present though... :p Thanks to my dad! ( All about my dad in the next article....).

I love the idea of being in love. It simply fascinates me! Just like any other girl, I too have a rough sketch of my Prince Charming and an idea of my Dream Wedding *blushes*.

To me, love is a commitment between a guy and a girl - it's a unique way of letting your guy/ girl know that you will be there for him/ her until the end. I believe that love takes time to grow into something more sweet and strong. Time, understanding and trust is required to nourish and strengthen the delicate roots of love.

I have got a dream wedding planned up all in my mind..... Its like this -:

My wedding could take place at an old church - somewhere in the country side, far away from the hustle & bustle of the city life. The church would be tastefully decorated with pink laces and decorative pink candles to suit the mood. The aisles would be decorated with white rose petals.
<==========My Wedding dress could be something like this.

My dad ( ONCE AGAIN, A BIG REMINDER -----> There is lots more about my dad in my next article :p) would hold my hand and take me to the alter according to the custom. I would share my marriage vows with my hubby - to -be. And then the reception would take place near the lake or beach.

How would that be? *blushes*

That's all for now. Good night ! *yawn*.. It's time to go to sleep.
Perhaps I will get to see my Prince Charming in my dreams tonight ;)
