It's teacher's day! Perhaps it does not mean anything to all the uncles and aunties reading my blog.. But it surely means alot to all those who are still in school or college.
Teacher's day is celebrated on 5th September (in India), in honour of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. It's the day when the senior most students get a chance to take charge as pupil teachers in the school.
Well - the small description of Teacher's day is for those who have no idea how it is celebrated in Indian schools.
Today we happened to celebrate Teacher's Day in our school. Being students of Class XII, we were given the opportunity to step into our teacher's shoes for a day! It was fun !!
I am so sorry because I do not have any pictures to show you this time.
Why????
It's because I brought my digital camera to school .... but I forgot to place the battery in it!! Aaaargh!

I guess this is what happens when you are a science student.. You tend to forget alot! Anyway- Devilish Angel took some photos with her camera and it will be put up on her blog. So you will not miss anything!! [ After all.. we are both in the same school and same class ]
The Scene at School:
There was alot of excitement among the pupil teachers in every corner of the school. The females flaunted their colorful sarees and salwars. They looked more like MODELS.. eh.. including me! ( How could I leave this glorious moment of praising myself?

)
The guys, on the other hand, went one step ahead... by the wearing "THE" traditional "LOONGI" (or dhoti.. whatever you call it!).
The only thing missing from the scene was a STRONG WIND to set the LOONGI flying!
A visit to HELL :
Everything seemed perfect until we were asked to go to our respective classes. The class that was assigned to me was Class VIID. But I felt quite bored with those kids so I went to Class VIIB.
For all those who don't know what HELL actually seems like .. visit VIIB! My class was a collection of
hooligans, bandits and dacoits [ Do let me know if I have left any baddie man out..]!
In school - I am famous for having a sweet and soft voice. People need to spend alot of energy to hear my voice

When I entered Class VIIB, the first conversation between me and my students went on like this:
Me : (softly) Hello everyone!
Class : Volume, please..
------ THE END -----At the end of day, I was so exhausted! A teacher's job is definitely horrible... I do appreciate all those teachers who have been so brave to enter this "HORRIFYING BATTLEFIELD"!!!

Anyway before I end this post I would like to share few words of gratitude to my teachers who have taught me since kindergarten..
I thank you...I thank you teacher...
... For accusing me of copying during a test when I didn't actually do it

... For NOT accusing me of copying during a test when I actually did it

... For being so INSINCERE while teaching us in the class
... For being so SINCERE while teaching us in tuition

... For giving me extra marks gracefully in the examination papers
... For cutting my marks mercilessly in the examination papers
... For treating me as your pet
... For treating me as an UNTOUCHABLE sometimes
